In 2025, Providence St. John Baptist Church celebrates a new chapter with the renaming of our church to Nehemiah Family Worship Center (NFWC). While our name may change, our mission remains the same.

At NFWC, we are a family united in faith and devoted to God’s purpose. We honor our past and embrace the future and remain steadfast in our mission to serve God and transform lives.

We are Nehemiah Family Worship Center—united, inspired, and pressing FORWARD with faith, purpose, and a shared commitment to God’s calling.

  • The Reason

    Join us on Sunday, December 21st at 10:00 AM for a powerful worship experience as we celebrate the true gift of Christmas—Jesus Christ. This year’s presentation, “The Gift, The Reason, The Celebration,” will uplift your heart and remind us all of the wonder of His birth. Come worship, celebrate, and rejoice with the Nehemiah Family as our Music & Arts Ministry leads us in a beautiful time of praise. Invite a friend and meet us in the sanctuary—you don’t want to miss it!

  • Christmas Eve

    Join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior at our Christmas Eve Service on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 7:30 PM. Come experience a powerful night of worship, reflection, and rejoicing in the greatest gift ever given—Jesus Christ!

  • New Year's Eve

    Get ready to end the year in praise and prayer on Wednesday, December 31, 2025! We’ll gather at 12:00 Noon for a Prayer & Praise Service, and return at 7:30 PM for an uplifting New Year’s Eve Worship Service to hear a dynamic message from Pastor Billy T. Staton, Jr and to celebrate all that God has done. Let’s step into the new year with faith and expectation!

  • Join the Movement-Resilient Hope

    Resilient Hope, the nonprofit arm of Nehemiah Family Worship Center, is on a mission to empower, educate, and encourage families and communities, and we are inviting passionate leaders to serve on our Board of Directors and committees. As we prepare for our official launch, we are seeking individuals with experience and a heart for community service who are ready to build partnerships, launch programs, and expand our impact. If you feel led to serve and help shape this vital work, please submit your application by December 28, 2025.
