In 2025, Providence St. John Baptist Church celebrates a new chapter with the renaming of our church to Nehemiah Family Worship Center (NFWC). While our name may change, our mission remains the same.
At NFWC, we are a family united in faith and devoted to God’s purpose. We honor our past and embrace the future and remain steadfast in our mission to serve God and transform lives.
We are Nehemiah Family Worship Center—united, inspired, and pressing FORWARD with faith, purpose, and a shared commitment to God’s calling.

Man Up Monday
Calling ALL Men! The Men of Iron Men’s Ministry invites every man, ages 18 and older to Man Up Monday on Monday, September 29th at 7:00pm in the NFWC Fellowship Hall. After our powerful “Do The Work” Conference, it’s time to keep the momentum going! This gathering will challenge, equip, and inspire us to continue walking boldly in faith, leadership, and brotherhood. Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect, recharge, and be sharpened by other men of God. Iron sharpens iron—let’s rise up together.

It's our Anniversary!
NFWC is celebrating 19 years of ministry and our Pastor’s 12th Anniversary this October! Join us for three powerful Tuesday nights with Pastor R. Kevin Matthews (Oct. 7), Rev. Marissa Farrow (Oct. 14), and Bishop Marc Talbert (Oct. 21). Then on Sunday, October 26 at 10AM, we’ll culminate the celebration with Pastor Tyrone Stevenson of Hope City Church, Brooklyn, NY, and music by the NFWC Workshop Choir under the direction of Renowned Choir Master and Recording Artist Roderick Giles. You don’t want to miss this spirit-filled time of worship, fellowship, and celebration!
