In 2025, Providence St. John Baptist Church celebrates a new chapter with the renaming of our church to Nehemiah Family Worship Center (NFWC). While our name may change, our mission remains the same.

At NFWC, we are a family united in faith and devoted to God’s purpose. We honor our past and embrace the future and remain steadfast in our mission to serve God and transform lives.

We are Nehemiah Family Worship Center—united, inspired, and pressing FORWARD with faith, purpose, and a shared commitment to God’s calling.

  • Men of Iron Connect

    Men of Iron is excited to announce a special event dedicated to bridging the gap between our seasoned men and the next generation of young men. Join us Friday, February 27th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall as we look to build lasting relationships through fellowship and create a space where every man feels heard and supported. 

  • Make A Joyful Noise

    Do you enjoy praising God through song? Then come on out and join the Mass Choir!! Meet us the first Wednesday @ 7:00, and the first Saturday @11:00, of each month. We are waiting for YOU! Please email music_arts@nfwcenter.org to sign up.

  • Ministry Fair-Sunday, March 1

    As our church family continues to grow, we want every member to be aware of the amazing ministries available and feel inspired to get involved. Join us for All Ministry Sunday on Sunday,  March 1 immediately following service in the Fellowship Hall. Come and and find out where you can serve others while building relationships and growing spiritually.

  • Anniversary Committee

    Do you enjoy planning, creating, or bringing events to life? The Event Ministry is hosting an interest meeting for the Church/Pastoral Anniversary Planning Committee on Saturday, March 21st at 10:00 a.m.via Zoom (link will be provided the day before) Sign up on the app or on the website.     The Next Level Campaign is our commitment to move forward with faith and excellence-strengthening our church home to better serve our congregation and the community.
